WEBSITE DONATIONS TERMS OF SERVICE
1.1 The website of Toni & Guy Foundation Limited (Foundation) allows you to make a donation that goes directly into our account. The funds are then distributed to the charities that we support and are visible on our website. Donations can be made by debit card, credit card and PayPal by following the instructions on the website.
1.2 These terms of service (and the terms and conditions for use of the website) describe how you can make donations using the website and what the Foundation can do and will do for you, and what the Foundation asks of you in return. By using the website to make a donation you indicate your agreement to these terms of service. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms of service, you should not use the website to make a donation.
1.3 The Foundation may amend or update these terms of service from time to time. It is your responsibility to check these terms of service whenever you make a donation using the website. The most recent version of these terms of service from time to time will govern your use of the website in the future.
2. ABOUT THE FOUNDATION AND THE CHARITIES/INSTITUTIONS YOU MAY DONATE TO
2.1 The Foundation is a charity which is dedicated to getting the best for other charities and their objects. We provide financial aid to charities and institutions, as well as processing donations to them, freeing them up to concentrate on their noble works.
2.2 Any donation which you make using the website will be made to the Foundation itself. The Foundation is itself a registered charity (registration number [insert]), so your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid (see paragraph 3 for more details).
2.3 Your donation will be made to the Foundation itself. The trustees of the Foundation will usually pass on your donation to a charity or organisation listed on the website although they retain a final discretion over whether or not to do so.
2.4 The Foundation is not responsible for any dissatisfaction you may have about how your funds are used and any donation which you make through the website.
3. MAKING DONATIONS AND RECLAIMING GIFT AID
3.1 You can make donations by following the instructions on the website. Donations can be made by debit card, credit card or by transferring money through PayPal.
3.2 Once a donation is made using the website, the transaction is final and cannot be disputed or reversed unless it was made fraudulently. If you become aware of any fraudulent use of your debit card, credit card or PayPal account you should report this to your card operator or to PayPal in accordance with their reporting rules.
3.3 When you make a donation using the website and confirm that you are a UK taxpayer in accordance with the requirements of the Gift Aid scheme from time to time, we will reclaim Gift Aid on your donation under the Gift Aid scheme and add this to your gift. Further details about this will be given when you use the website to make a donation. Please note that the Foundation is not a financial, tax or accounting adviser and you should not rely on information on the website to determine the financial, tax or accounting treatment of any donation which you make using the website.
3.4 When you make a donation, it may be necessary for us to verify your identity or the details which you have given to us. You agree that you will provide such information or documents as we may reasonably request from time to time to enable us to do this.
4. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
4.1 The Foundation will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the website and the ability to make donations through the website is available continuously but retains the right to modify, suspend or terminate the website and the ability to make donations through the website from time to time without notice. Except as otherwise specified, any new features, services or functionality of the website which are introduced from time to time will be subject to these terms of service.
5. NON-ADHERENCE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE
5.1 If you do not comply with these terms of service, the Foundation has the right to temporarily suspend or permanently revoke your ability to use the website to make donations.
6. YOUR PRIVACY
7. GOVERNING LAW
