Community & Service Since 2003
The TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation is the official charity of the internationally renowned hairdressing company, established by Toni and Pauline Mascolo with the aim of helping a variety of worthwhile causes. Macmillan Cancer Support, The Stroke Association, and The Variety Club are some of our past beneficiaries.
OUR STORY
Since its constitution in 2003, the TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation has supported the renovation of the TONI&GUY children’s ward at the King’s College Hospital by donating £700,000 to The Variety Club Children’s Charity. Following the completion of the ward the Foundation will continue to support the ward’s maintenance and upkeep.
In 2009 the TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support to help those affected by Cancer with a specialised training scheme for hairdressers called Strength in Style. We currently have trained consultants in 150 salons across the UK and we keep training new staff organising courses four times a year in London and Manchester. Over time, our salons have greatly contributed to Macmillan through specific events and other activities.
In 2016 and 2017 we also supported The Stroke Association, sponsoring Life After Stroke Awards: a wonderful and inspiring event that recognises the achievements of everyone affected by stroke and celebrates survivors for showing tremendous spirit and determination.
After a long pause due to the loss of our patron Toni Mascolo in 2017, and the Covid-19 pandemic, we are resuming our chartiable initiatives full force. We have appointed a new Chairman of the charitable foundation – Pierre Mascolo, Toni and Pauline’s youngest son, to continue his father’s mission.
This year, with your help we aim to raise vital funds exclusively for the TONI&GUY Ward at King’s College Hospital. TONI&GUY Ward is a children’s general medical ward with 15 beds. It specialises in caring for children with breathing (respiratory), blood (haematological) and cancerous (oncological) conditions.

T&G WARD WISHES
Our Ward wishes benefit children currently undergoing treatment at the T&G ward at King’s College hospital, and include decorating treatment rooms, purchasing equipment, and more.

Pierre Mascolo
Chairman & TRUSTEE
Pierre Mascolo is the newly elected Chairman of the Toni & Guy Foundation. He is the youngest son of Pauline and Toni Mascolo and has an avid interest in supporting his mother’s mission and keeping his father’s legacy alive. Pierre is an accomplished actor and film producer who uses his skills and influence to help the Foundation grow on every level. With a hands-on approach, he oversees all operations and is actively involved with all fundraising initiatives.
Lilia Mascolo
Director & TRUSTEE
Lilia Mascolo is a Digital Marketing Strategist with a background in Public Relations and Events Management. During her career, Lilia has worked with numerous charity organisations and supported various initiatives. Being the wife of Pierre Mascolo, Lilia is heavily involved with the Toni & Guy Foundation’s work, helping with the establishment of new partnerships and fundraising activities.

Pauline Mascolo
CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR & TRUSTEE
Pauline Mascolo is the Founder of the TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation alongside her late husband Toni Mascolo, OBE KCSG. Pauline and Toni established the Foundation in 2003 with the aim of spreading Love and helping a variety of worthwhile causes. Since the beginning, Pauline has worked tirelessly to support the Foundation’s mission and continues to do so to this day. She serves as a Patron of the charity with a focus on working closely with the chosen beneficiaries.
Paul Jukes
Director & TRUSTEE
Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and an Individual Trustee Member of the Pensions Management Institute. Having enjoyed a long and prosperous career in Finance and General Management, virtually the whole time he was also a trustee of numerous pension schemes. This deep involvement in Trusteeship was contributory to his being invited to join the TONI&GUY Foundation as a Director/Trustee in 2012. His particular interest in the Foundation is with regard to compliance, and the welfare of the children that the Charity embraces.

Simon Melhuish-Hancock

Simon is a commercial lawyer of many years’ standing and has served on the board of other major charities. He was invited by Toni and Pauline Mascolo to join the TONI&GUY Foundation board over 10 years ago and has been a Director and Trustee since then. His focus on the board is on good governance and compliance by the Foundation.

Rupert is a Chartered Accountant with a long history at Toni & Guy. Having gained invaluable experience in the media industry before joining Toni & Guy in 1996, Rupert was appointed as Finance Director. Since then, he has been instrumental in the growth of the company in the UK and overseas from 50 salons to over 600 today. His expertise is greatly appreciated at the Foundation, where he oversees all financial matters.

Thanks to the generosity of the Toni & Guy Foundation, the Toni & Guy children’s ward at King’s College Hospital has been completely transformed. The 50,000 young patients who are treated at the ward per year, now have access to state-of-the-art facilities. These include well-equipped play areas, facilities for parents to stay overnight with their children, and a parents’ room which provides a calming, relaxing and non-clinical space for parent’s and caregivers to take a break.
The difference this has made on the children’s wellbeing and recovery at King’s has been incredible. With more donations, we can continue to make a real difference to the lives of young patients on our ward, providing world-class care. Any donation, small or big, will make a difference.
